No matter what else you do with a dog in training, you must teach he owner how to effectively lead their dog. And just as importantly you must communicate why it is so vital that they assume the role of Alpha. Not he domineering, overbearing, abusive leader that some trainers describe the alpha as, but rather the confident, consistent and loving leader that every dog needs.
